Dolf Henkes and Curaçao

More than 30 paintings by Dolf Henkes have been brought to Curaçao from the Netherlands, and are now on view alongside artworks from Curaçaoan collections at three different locations. The Curaçao Museum is mainly showing the cultural scene in the 1950s, The Curaçao Maritime Museum presents a number of harbour scenes and the Instituto Buena Bisa (IBB) is focusing on the human side. This is a unique opportunity to get to know the work of Dolf Henkes.
